SpoonIndex Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 July 2026

1. The service

SpoonIndex provides restaurant market intelligence — brands, branches, menus, prices, coverage, and exports — through a permission-controlled workspace, currently operating as a controlled commercial beta.

2. Access

Accounts are provisioned by SpoonIndex per engagement. You’re responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Access may be suspended or ended for breach of these terms or misuse.

3. Data and license

SpoonIndex data is compiled from public restaurant listings, with source identity preserved. Subject to your engagement’s terms, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the data and exports for your internal business purposes. You may not resell, republish, or redistribute the dataset, use it to build a competing data product, or remove source attribution from exported records.

4. Acceptable use

No scraping the platform, probing or circumventing access controls, sharing accounts, or automated bulk extraction beyond the export features provided.

5. Accuracy — read this one

Data reflects dated snapshots of public sources at capture time. Restaurants change constantly; SpoonIndex verifies records against sources at capture but does not warrant that any record is currently accurate, complete, or fit for a specific purpose. Figures are tied to their snapshot date by design.

6. Beta terms

Features, coverage, and commercial terms may change during the beta. Specific commercial arrangements are agreed per engagement and prevail over these general terms where they conflict.

7. Liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpoonIndex’s liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the engagement giving rise to it; no liability for indirect or consequential losses.

8. Third-party platforms

SpoonIndex is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any delivery platform or restaurant brand referenced in the data.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
